Jadu AR

Jadu AR is an augmented reality company building immersive mobile games. During my time there, I contributed to the development of two published games: Jadu: Fight in AR and PANIC. As a lead tech artist, I led the development of shaders, visual effects, lighting, and post processing for both projects.

Summary
Panic: AR Shooter is an augmented reality mobile game that transforms your real-world physical surroundings into a monster-infested battle map.
My role on this project was Lead Technical Artist and VFX Artist. I worked closely with our 3D artists to match the stylized art direction and implement it.
The biggest challenges involved finding a visual style that is both performant enough for mobile AR, and that also blends into the real world seamlessly with the help of post processing effects.

Jadu AR is a multiplayer augmented reality fighting game for mobile (iOS & Android). Players can customize their avatar, play through a campaign, compete against strangers, and challenge their friends to duels in their physical spaces. We also built out a selection of unique characters with special abilities.
My role on this project was Lead Technical Artist and VFX Artist. I collaborated closely with creative directors and 3D artists to explore different art directions, and worked closely with developers to implement all effects. My responsibilities included VFX, shaders, post processing, and custom lighting/shadow solutions.
